CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN CONSTRUCTION

In Teqton, sustainability is a significant part of our business foundation. Our products ensure that materials are produced with a strong focus on sustainability. Both in the manufacturing process and after the product's lifespan, there are significant recycling possibilities.

There is a strong focus on the circular economy in the construction industry because the industry generally involves material-intensive processes and significant resource requirements. Therefore, it's crucial that resources are used correctly and efficiently.

One of Teqton's unique advantages, compared to other products in the industry, is the special composition of our products. We use minimal to no resources in our products. Our use of concrete mixtures from local gravel pits results in minimal transportation, reducing our CO2 emissions from material transportation.

We maximize the positive impact of our work while continuously working to minimize the negative effects.

TEQTON'S CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN CONSTRUCTION

Teqton doesn't only follow the industry, we proactively strive to reduce CO² emissions. We do this across the entire value chain. Additionally, we aim to reduce the use of new materials to ensure that our products are more sustainable. For us, sustainability is not only when we produce our products but also the opportunity for reuse and recycling after the products' lifespan.

Our products are manufactured directly on the construction site, skipping a significant portion of the supply chain—the actual production site where prefabricated concrete products are made. As a result, construction phases can be shortened using Teqton's products, saving CO² emissions.

Teqton floors do not contain steel reinforcement, making it easier to reuse materials for new purposes after the floor covering's lifespan. Our concrete's high durability provides an estimated user interface of 30-50 years.

Up to 80% of the degraded material can potentially be incorporated into new constructions. It's not just about reducing resources; it's also about using the right resources in the right way.

Up to 80% of Teqton's products can be recycled.

OUR PRODUCTS

Teqton's jointless concrete floors are an excellent choice, both for the environment and for your new flooring needs. Teqbase serves as the foundation and can also be used as a working platform during construction. Finally, the wear layer Teqplan is placed, so can be used in warehouses or it can receive finishes suitable for retail and office environments.
