TEQTON DELIVERS 22.398 M2 OF JOINT-FREE FLOORING FOR HIGH-BAY WAREHOUSE
In Avnsø, Køge, a new warehouse building designed as a high-bay storage facility has been equipped with a joint-free flooring solution delivered by Teqton.
Teqton has delivered 22.398 m² of joint-free flooring for a new warehouse hall designed for high-bay storage. The project is designed to support efficient goods handling, with strict requirements for flatness, load-bearing capacity and operational reliability.
High-bay warehouses place specific demands on floor construction, as both racking systems and internal transport solutions depend on precise tolerances and consistent surface quality. The flooring solution was therefore executed with a strong focus on stability and long service life, ensuring reliable performance in daily operations.
The joint-free floor provides optimal conditions for the installation and operation of high-bay racking systems, while also allowing internal vehicles to move safely and smoothly throughout the warehouse. The continuous surface reduces maintenance requirements and contributes to a calmer and more operationally efficient working environment.
FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The project placed strong emphasis on an efficient construction process and reduced environmental impact. The floor was produced directly on site using local materials and without traditional steel reinforcement, contributing to lower material consumption and reduced transport.
Teqton has provided EPD documentation and maintained close dialogue regarding execution and technical requirements, ensuring that the flooring solution supports operational performance, durability and documented environmental performance.
The floor was delivered as an integrated part of the construction process and completed according to the agreed schedule. The result is an operationally reliable flooring solution tailored to the function and future use of the high-bay warehouse.
