BAUHAUS Naestved - 7000 m² joint-free industrial floor with high flatness and durability

A total of 7,000 m² of joint-free flooring was installed with a strong focus on high flatness, wear resistance and reliable operating conditions in an environment with intensive forklift traffic and a back-to-back racking system.

Teqton carried out the flooring works for the new BAUHAUS store in Naestved, delivering a floor structure consisting of 18 cm Teqbase roller-compacted concrete combined with a 20 mm polymer-enhanced Teqplan wear layer.
The joint-free construction provides an even and highly durable surface, well suited for areas exposed to heavy loads and continuous traffic.

FLATNESS AND EXECUTION QUALITY

In facilities with back-to-back racking systems and intensive forklift operation, strict requirements apply to floor flatness, as even minor deviations can affect stability, load distribution and daily operations. The floor was executed with a high degree of precision to ensure a stable and operationally reliable flooring solution.

At BAUHAUS, high demands were placed on both quality and surface finish, which governed the execution throughout the project. The result is a robust and functional floor system where both the surface and the structural build-up meet the requirements of a high-load environment.

The project is another example of Teqton’s work with large-scale, joint-free flooring solutions for warehouse and retail buildings, with a clear focus on quality, durability and precision in execution.

PRODUCTS USED IN THIS PROJECT

Teqbase
Teqbase was applied as an 18 cm roller-compacted concrete layer and forms the load-bearing subfloor in the construction.

Teqplan
Teqplan was applied as a 20 mm polymer-reinforced wear layer, providing a jointless, durable and uniform surface suitable for high loads and intensive traffic.
