FROM PRODUCTION HALL TO LOGISTICS WAREHOUSE

When Teqton installed the original floor 15 years ago, a large fruit-sorting robot was to be positioned at the far end of the hall, which required the floor to be installed with a slope.

Since then, the function of the hall has changed from a production facility to a standard logistics warehouse, meaning that the sloped floor is no longer required. Teqton therefore returned to the project to modify the floor, creating a level surface suitable for regular forklift traffic.

FROM PRODUCTION HALL TO LOGISTICS WAREHOUSE

The renovation of the 2,300 m² floor was carried out using Teqbase and Teqplan. The floor is now level and has been adapted to the hall’s new function as a logistics warehouse with regular forklift traffic.

Project Manager Steen Madsen from Dansk Hal explained why Teqbase and Teqplan were specifically chosen for the project:

"It provides excellent flatness. We have had many successful projects using this solution in the past, including at Salling Group, where we recently completed 6,850 m² of Teqplan jointless concrete flooring."

In addition to the flooring solution itself, Steen Madsen also shared his assessment of the collaboration with Teqton throughout the project:

The statement reflects a collaboration in which Dansk Hal, as the main contractor, and Teqton, as the flooring contractor, worked together to implement the new flooring solution at Netto in Køge.
