TEQTON DELIVERS 37.500 m² OF FLOORING FOR NEW DSV-FACILITIES 

The newly constructed facilities in Ringsted consist of 37.500 m² of warehouse flooring as well as a 6.000 m² mezzanine, where the combination of space and flexibility allows for handling both lightweight goods and specialised operations such as packing and sorting.

By supplying joint free floors to the new warehouse facilities, Teqton enables DSV to operate with high efficiency while maintaining the flexibility to adapt the layout of the warehouse areas as operational needs evolve.

The joint free floors also ensure that forklifts and pallet trucks can move quickly through a quiet and safe working environment.

FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

The entire project placed strong emphasis on environmental impact and on achieving DGNB Gold certification, which was also a key factor in the selection of flooring solutions.

The flooring system was required not only to contribute to a low CO² footprint, but also to support a shorter construction period. For this reason, Teqton’s joint free roller compacted concrete floors were selected, mixed directly on site using materials supplied from nearby gravel pits.

In addition, the joint free floors are produced without any form of traditional steel reinforcement, further contributing to a reduction in the overall CO² footprint of the project.

Teqton has also provided EPD documentation for its products and supported the project from start to finish by adapting both execution and design to ensure that all requirements were met.
The roller compacted concrete floors were delivered according to the agreed schedule, resulting in a highly satisfied client.
